Tajdryn Forbes had been a high school football standout, like his late father, Charles Forbes Jr., who played semipro. When Forbes scored a touchdown, he would look to the sky to honor his dad. In August of 2023, Tajdryn was shot and killed in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was the glue of his family, his mother Naketra Guy said.
