The October 24, 2005 issue was our first hard copy edition since Hurricane Katrina changed all our lives. But while our lives have irrevocably been changed, our spirit, determination and commitment of providing "a written forum to advance justice, freedom and equality to all members of all communities at all times" could not be more resolute.
