The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals is offering free flu shots to everyone on Friday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those seeking the free shots are asked to wear a shirt with short or loose-fitting sleeves.

Although flu shots will still be available after this date, this is the only day that the shots will be administered at no cost. This is an exercise to test the state's ability to vaccinate large numbers of people during an emergency.
